Online Grievance Redressal Mechanism

1. Objective

To provide a transparent, efficient, and time‑bound system for redressing grievances of students, faculty, and staff through an online platform.

2. Scope

This mechanism covers grievances related to:
  • ● Academic matters (teaching, evaluation, attendance)
  • ● Infrastructure and facilities
  • ● Examination and results
  • ● Administrative issues
  • ● Harassment or unfair practices
  • ● Any other institutional concerns

3. Process Flow

  1. ● Submission
         Grievance submitted via online portal.
  2. ● Acknowledgement
         Automatic acknowledgment shown with complaint number.
  3. ● Scrutiny
         Grievance reviewed by committee and categorized based on nature and urgency.
  4. ● Investigation
         Concerned department is contacted and documents/evidence are reviewed.
  5. ● Resolution
         Appropriate action is taken and decision is recorded.
  6. ● Communication
         Resolution communicated via email/portal.
  7. ● Closure
         Grievance marked as closed after satisfaction or resolution.

4. Timeline

Resolution Within 7–15 Days

5. Confidentiality

All grievances are handled with strict confidentiality. Sensitive cases (harassment, etc.) are handled by a separate committee if required.

6. Monitoring & Reporting

  • ● Monthly report generated of grievances received and resolved.
  • ● Report presented in IQAC / Management meetings.
  • ● Report used for institutional improvement.

7. Appeal Mechanism

If the complainant is not satisfied, they may appeal to:
  • ● Principal / Director
  • ● Management / Governing Body
