About Avishkar Competition
‘Avishkar’, a novel research oriented event designed with the intention to develop research and scientific culture among the students from undergraduate to doctoral level. This unique activity initiated by his Excellency, the then Governor and Chancellor of Maharashtra,Shri. S. M. Krishna in 2006, for providing not only a platform/opportunity to express research talent in young talented, extraordinary brains but also for boosting the scientific, social, technological and management skill/temperament in the students from various Colleges/Institutions and Universities in Maharashtra.
Aims and Objectives
1. To inculcate research culture among students
2. To encourage original and novel thinking ideas
3. To provide an opportunity for expression of academic talent.
4. To promote interaction among academic R & D Institutes and Industries.
