1-Day State Level Workshop on Digital Image Processing using MATLAB

The objective of the workshop was to develop the interest of researcher in Image Processing using MATLAB. Besides this objective there are other objectives such as every staff member should get deep knowledge of MATLAB and get motivated to do research in the concern field. Another objective is to highlight overlapping of software development and DIP because both the fields are overlapping each other on certain grounds. This workshop was conducted by Dr. Arjun V Mane, Asst. Professor, Digital and Cyber Forensic Dept., Nagpur.

The workshop was conducted in two sessions - the morning and evening session. In the Morning session, theoretical part i.e. Image Preprocessing, Image Restoration, color image, matching etc. were demonstrated whereas in the evening session practical examples were given to the attendees. So, in these two session resource person tried to fulfill all the above mentioned objectives. At last but not least workshop very fruitful to those who participated.
